Amkette, which is well-known for its PC storage products like floppy drives, has brought out a new wireless trackball keyboard. The company also has a large lineup of products ranging from pen drives to media players, and it was only recently that we reviewed the Amkette Flash TV.
The Wireless keyboard works on the 2.4GHz wireless range and comes with a pre-paired dongle for a quick setup. What's interesting is that it also has a trackball, which is perfect for HTPC users. Amkette Wireless Optical Trackball Keyboard comes with 800-DPI optical trackball system and 360-degree rotation capability. This portable keyboard measures 365 mm x 156 mm x 22 mm only.
Additionally, there is a Power Saving Circuit by which the keyboard can save power itself by switching off automatically after four minutes. The optical trackball has a scroll wheel and two buttons to perform normal operations. Apart from that, the ten multimedia hotkeys help the user in accessing the internet and playing the MP3.This wireless optical trackball keyboard can be used better with the Home Theatre PC settings.
